Home north of Commerce robbed

Hunt County Sheriff’s deputies are seeking three suspects connected to a home invasion armed robbery near Commerce earlier in the day.

Sheriff Randy Meeks said the report came in of the robbery shortly after 4 p.m. Thursday from a residence off of FM 2874, north of Commerce.

“Three black males were reported to have entered the home,” Meeks said. “Two of them had masks on. I think they may have gotten money and maybe some electronics equipment. They were supposed to have left in a white vehicle.”

No one was injured during the reported robbery, he said.
