Honey Grove – An episode of the TV show One Tree Hill that was filmed in Honey Grove is set to air this Wednesday. Honey Grove was chosen as the location for the episode after eight Honey Grove students won a Warner Brothers studio challenge asking students nationwide to submit videos saying why they love their town. The students were chosen out of nearly 100,000 entries.
The episode revolves around a Prom Night at One Tree Hill. Almost 200 area students and adults were cast in the episode, which was shot mostly in the Honey Grove Middle School Gym and around downtown Honey Grove, with some finishing work shot in Paris. The eight students that won have roles in the show as well.
The episode airs Wednesday night at 8pm on the CW Network.
