Commerce, TX – Lions senior guard Kanani Marshal was named the Lone Star Conference North Division Player of the year and was placed on the first team with sophomore Britney Jordan. It marks the first time in school history that the Lions have had two first team selections. Both players led the Lions to their first-ever LSC North Division title. Jordan was also named the Newcomer of the Year. Fifth-year head coach Denny Downing was selected as Coach of the Year.
