Horn, Bench win Hunt Co. judicial races

Incumbent John Horn will keep his office.

John Horn won the race for Hunt County Judge, while Andrew Bench breezed past Steve Tittle in the contest for 196th District Judge. 

Tod McMahan defeated Andy Hunt in a close race for the Precinct 2 commissioner's seat.

Other winners from Hunt County elections included Stacey Landrum (District Clerk) and Sheila Linden (Justice of the Peace, Precinct 2, Place 2).

  • Andrew Bench 4,912 (60.49%)
  • Steve Tittle 3.208 (39.51%)

Hunt County Judge

  • Jerry Minter 3,420 (44.04%)
  • John Horn 4,345 (55.96%)

Hunt County District Clerk

  • Stacey Landrum 6,518 (89.98%)
  • Charla "Twins" Campbell-Turner 726 (10.02%)

Hunt County Commissioner Precinct 2

  • Andy Hunt 865 (48.14%)
  • Tod McMahan 932 (51.6%)
