Greenville – Groundbreaking for the $29 million Presbyterian Hospital of Greenville expansion is set for today. The new West Wing will include a full, state-of-the-art cancer center, a 16-bed ICU, and additional hospital rooms and office space.
Voters approved $25 million for the expansion in 2005, but the price tag has risen $5 million since then due to rising construction costs.
The wing is expected to be complete in 2008.
The ceremony is set for 3pm today at Presbyterian Hospital of Greenville.
