Hunt County Crime Stoppers is seeking information leading to the arrest of the person or persons responsible for a rash of area burglaries.
Most recently, suspects are said to have burglarized a safe at the Dollar General in Commerce along Live Oak Street. The incident occurred about a week and a half ago, according to Commerce Police Chief Kerry Crews.
The crime is believed to be connected to a similar string of burglaries in the Dallas area. Suspects have also burglarized safes at Dollar Generals in Greenville, Sulphur Springs and Emory in recent months.
