Hunt County – The 38th annual Hunt County Fair opens up today, with 9 days of fun-filled fair action ahead. The grand opening is today at 4pm at the Hunt County Fairgrounds in Greenville. Crabtree Amusements will provide midway rides once again this year, with the midway opening at noon on weekends and at 4pm on weekdays.
The naming of Junior Livestock Queen and Princess, tractor pulls, livestock shows, evenings of live music, creative art displays, good food and much more are planned for this year. The Texas Heritage Expo returns this year on Saturday, Senior Citizens Night and the Twins Contest is Monday, and events and activities continue until the Junior Livestock Auction Sale closes down the fair next Saturday.
