Hunt County – The current term of the Hunt County Grand Jury ends following its meeting today.
In July, a new grand jury will be empanelled in order to begin investigating cases for potential consideration by the 354th District Court, for a six-month term running through December.
The current panel has already issued 287 indictments, including three for capital murder and one for murder, as well as 19 aggravated robbery indictments. Five people were also indicted on charges of securities fraud and other allegations involving a Wolfe City oil drilling firm.
