Hunt County Sheriff Randy Meeks will be hosting a town hall meeting in Campbell this evening.

The session, the second in a series of planned public meetings across the county, is scheduled to start at 7 p.m. in the Community Center, 115 West Main Street.

Tonight’s meeting is expected to address issues concerning crime in Hunt County and the Campbell area in particular.

Meeks has said the meetings are designed to open a dialogue between his office and the communities within Hunt County about current crime trends and to share information.

Meeks intends to have his command staff present as well as elected officials that serve the Campbell area.

The first session was March 25 in Lone Oak.
