Icy weather slows region, many schools close

Texas A&M University-Commerce's main campus and all off-site locations will be closed today, university officials said. The closure includes all classes and offices in Commerce, as well as The Universities Center at Dallas, the Navarro College Partnership in Corsicana, the Midlothian Higher Education Center, Texas A&M University-Commerce at Rockwall, the Collin Higher Education Center in McKinney and the Mesquite Metroplex Center.

On the Commerce campus, the Rayburn Student Center will be open from 7 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. and the Club will be open 9 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. The dining room is open only for food service from 7:15 a.m. to 7:15 p.m.

Paris Junior College will be closed, as will Paris Junior College campuses in Greenville and Sulphur Springs. Collin County Community College is also closed.

Anna, Blue Ridge, Boles, Bonham, Caddo Mills, Campbell, Celeste, Celina, Cooper, Commerce, Community, Cumby, Detroit, Farmersville, Greenville, Heritage Christian (Rockwall), Honey Grove, Leonard, Lone Oak, McKinney, Melissa, Miller Grove, Mount Vernon, North Hopkins, North Lamar, Paris, Princeton, Quinlan, Rains, Rockwall, Rockwall Christian, Roxton, Royse City, Saltillo, Sam Rayburn, Savoy, Sulphur Bluff, Sulphur Springs, Yantis.

School two-hour delays:

Canton, Clarksville, Rivercrest.
