Identity of boy found in Wylie still unknown

Wylie – Hundreds of people gathered to attend a vigil for an unidentified boy found dead earlier this month near a North Texas lake.

Authorities have been working to identify the boy believed to be about 6 years old. His body was found April 15 in a park near Lavon Lake.

Investigators say the boy probably "had significant medical needs." He also showed signs of having had a feeding tube. Autopsy results have not been released.

Tips on a possible identity are being funneled through the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children. Anyone with information can call 1-800-843-5678.
