Greenville – Work has been awarded for the improvement of several streets in Greenville. Austin Bridge & Road of Irving was awarded a $467,692 bid for the work during Tuesday's Council meeting. Segments of 14 local streets are scheduled to be sealed and/or recovered. The contracted projects will involve slightly more than 3.5 miles of streets, equaling roughly 1 percent of Greenville's approximately 350 miles of paved roads.
