India Student Association to hold memorial service for student

COMMERCE - A memorial service takes place Wednesday evening at the A&M-Commerce Sam Rayburn Student Center for Rajesh Puli, who died Monday evening in a car accident in East Texas.

The 25-year-old who was pursuing a Master’s in Technology Management was said to be traveling southbound along Highway 287 approximately three miles north of Groveton when his SUV left the roadway, overturned and struck a tree. Puli was wearing a seatbelt. Conditions during the time of the crash were described as wet.

Wednesday's memorial service continues through 8 p.m.
