Commerce – Robbery indictments filed against four Commerce men have been dismissed.
Brandon K. Biggley, Devere Jackson Douglas, Jeffery Blare Phelps and Ian Robert Morehouse were each indicted last October.
All four were alleged to have stolen a wallet from a male victim in Commerce in December, 2007, kicking and hitting the victim in the process. They were all scheduled go to trial next week, but the indictments were dismissed Tuesday after all four agreed to enter into a one-year, pretrial diversion program with the District Attorney's office.
A fifth suspect in the case will serve ten years of probation for the crime.
