The Greenville Police Department has released an official statement concerning the death this morning of a two month old child:
Officers with the Greenville Police Department received a call this morning, Tuesday, December 10, 2013, regarding a two-month-old infant female, who was reportedly not breathing.
Upon responding to the call, officers found the child to be deceased. The cause of death is unknown at present. Justice of the Peace Wayne Money pronounced the death and has ordered an autopsy and the body has been transported to the Medical Examiner’s Office in Dallas.
The investigation will continue and no further information will be available until the Medical Examiner’s Office has concluded the autopsy and released findings to GPD.
