Initial autopsy rules out foul play in woman's death

FANNIN COUNTY - The Fannin County woman found deceased along the side of Highway 11 Sunday morning has been identified.

County officials say that Jacque Sullivan appeared to have died of natural causes and exposure to weather, according to a preliminary autopsy report.

The 57-year-old was found just west of the town of Bailey, about ten hours after she was said to have left her home.

Sullivan's car was found by deputies less than a mile from her house on County Road 4265. They believe she left her vehicle near a dead end, and crossed several pastures on foot before ending up near the highway in a ditch.

The case is still under investigation as a full autopsy and toxicology reports remain pending.
