By Matt Meinke
Credit US National Weather Service Ft. Worth
Portions of Texas likely to experience weather Thursday resulting from Isaac.
Tropical storm Isaac continues to move North across Louisiana , but the edge of the storm will bring a chance for rain and high winds to Northeast Texas.
The US National Weather Service in Ft. Worth is calling for a 40 to 60% likelihood of showers and isolated Thunderstorms Thursday and Thursday night across the region. Any weather that does develop has the potential to drop locally heavy rainfall, with cloud-to-ground lightning and gusty winds being the main threats.
Your Station will be monitoring the situation with regular updates on-air, listen to 88.9 KETR for the latest weather information.
