Commerce – The first of three University Community Updates for the fall semester at Texas A&M University-Commerce outlined a number of items including fall enrollment, outreach initiatives, the new One Stop Shop and several upcoming events.
President Dan Jones indicated the university has seen a total enrollment increase of more than eight percent, and its largest freshmen enrollment at 22 percent. He also touched on recent activities relating to Collin County and the Higher Education Center and Education is Freedom, an initiative that teams with Dallas ISD.
Also mentioned were construction updates, new scholarship initiatives and a preview of the next Main Event Preview Day set for late October.
