Delta County Judge Jason Murray was appointed to serve as representative on the Ark-Tex Council of Governments Board of Directors during Monday morning’s regular meeting.
Charles Edwards with Resource Management was approved as the administrator for services for the TxCDBG Disaster Relief Grant. Edwards will handle the reimbursements to the County dating back to the ice storm in December 2013. He also noted expenses still ongoing can still be considered as long as proof is presented.
Delta County Treasurer Bonnie Hobbs presented an IRS announcement of Business Standard Mileage Rate Increase to the Court, which she receives each year however Delta County has not ever shown interest. The Court agreed to “stay with the standard” increasing the current .48 ½ to .57 ½ for reimbursement when traveling out of Delta County.
Commissioners Court will meet again on Monday, April 13, 2015 at 9 a.m.
