Judge order case information confidential

By Brad Kellar

Greenville – Records are being kept confidential in an unusual child endangerment case in Greenville. A state district judge has ordered certain records will be kept confidential in a case where Mary Ann Green, of Greenville, allegedly forced her son to fight another child, then whipped him with a belt when he refused. Green has pleaded not guilty to one count of endangering a child. During an interim hearing Wednesday a judge ordered the information in the records could only be disclosed to the attorneys in the case, any expert witnesses scheduled to testify and Green herself. No additional hearings were immediately scheduled and a trial date has not been set in the case.
