Jury selection set in Greenville felony theft case

By Brad Kellar

Greenville – Richard Lee Fuller, of Wolfe City, is alleged to have stolen swords and sheaths in Greenville in May 2010. The items stolen are valued at between $1,500 and $20,000.

Four witnesses have been subpoenaed to testify in the case, including Wolfe City Police Chief Jimmy Doolin.

Prosecutors are hoping that if Fuller is found guilty, they can use his previous convictions to enhance the potential sentence he would receive. Fuller shows eight previous felony convictions for burglary, escape and forgery.
