Fireworks are fun for people, but not pets.

Celebrating the Fourth of July means fireworks. But while people might enjoy the spectacle, pets often find the noise and flashes distressing.

KETR’s Scott Morgan talks with Monette Douglas, president and founder of No Kill Hunt County, an animal foster and no-kill advocacy group based in Greenville, about being kind to animals this 4th of July.

Scott Morgan has been an award-winning journalist since 2001. His work has appeared in several newspapers and magazines as well as online. He has also been an editor, freelancer, speaker, writing teacher, author, and podcaster.
