In his first collegiate start at Texas A&M University-Commerce junior quarterback Adam Farkes completed 32 of 61 passes for a school record 447 yards and four touchdowns in a 76-56 loss by the Lions to Eastern New Mexico on Saturday night.
Farkes nearly broke the school record with 32 completions on 61 attempts.
Farkes and the Lions will host the University of Central Oklahoma in the home opener at Memorial Stadium on Saturday at 6 pm (CST).
The Commerce Tigers are on the road in Gladewater this Friday night, we'll have that game plus scores from other games around Northeast Texas on the Big Friday Night Scoreboard programs - it begins at 6:30.
