Eric Lair is announcing his candidacy for the position of Delta County Commissioner Precinct 1.

Lair is a self-employed local farmer/rancher with over 20 years’ experience in the building and construction field, owning and operating J & E Welding and Machine Shop with his father. He is well known by the community for his work ethic, abilities, and experience in dealing with running a business with available resources.

Lair and his wife, Misty, are lifelong residents of Delta County and live on their property, Crazy L Ranch, in the Cedar Creek area.  The Lairs have been married for 20 years and have two children: Logan and Jayla Lair, who are also active in the operation of the cattle and Dorper sheep ranch.

“I’m confident my work history in the local community, experience in managing and operating my own business, and my close relationship with Delta County citizens have prepared me to be a good candidate,” said Eric Lair.  “I am offering my abilities, knowledge, and experiences to the citizens of this county to be a successful County Commissioner for Precinct 1. I look forward to meeting and visiting with the voters of Precinct 1 and listening to your ideas to use the resources available to us to improve Delta County. Thank you for your support.”
