Lamar County Crime Stoppers seeks your help

Paris – Lamar County Crime Stoppers is offering a reward of up to $1000 for information leading to the arrest of an attempted robbery suspect.

The crime occurred on the morning of July 10 in the Bywaters Park area near Downtown Paris.

A man walking through the area was approached by a male near Market Square, who displayed a knife and demanded all of his money. After a brief altercation, the suspect fled the scene. The man is described an African American, who wore a hooded sweatshirt and had a medium build.
