Lamar County – State Troopers are reporting the death of a Lamar County man, following a one-vehicle wreck Monday on Highway 82 westbound.
The passenger, 58-year-old Ray Lenny Webb, of Brookston was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident. The driver, 48-year-old Vanessa Bills, reportedly ran off the road, over corrected, struck an incline, went airborne and landed in a ditch.
Bills suffered blunt force trauma with multiple broken bones. She was last reported in critical condition at Paris Regional Medical Center.
