Lamar County – A contempt of court charge has landed a member of the Lamar County District Attorney's office in the doghouse.
Victims and Witness Coordinator Allan Hubbard was sentenced to 20 days of community service. He was also barred from appearing in 6th District Court until January 1.
The punishment came after an incident in court where Hubbard allegedly confronted a defense attorney with angry words and a slap on the shoulder after a defendant received probation for a fatal DWI. Hubbard apologized to everyone in the court.
