Texas – AUSTIN (AP) - Tomorrow is the last day to register to vote for the November general election.
Registration forms can be picked up at local Department of Public Safety offices, local libraries and at the Secretary of State's office. Residents also can sign up at a local voter registration office or find an application at the Secretary of State's Web site.
The applications must be either hand-delivered to the county voter registrar by tomorrow or postmarked that day.
In Texas, voters will be choosing a governor, lieutenant governor, U-S senator, attorney general, comptroller, land commissioner, agriculture commissioner and railroad commissioner.
They also are choosing state and U-S representatives, Supreme Court justices, Court of Criminal Appeals judges and candidates for numerous local offices.
