GREENVILLE - The City of Greenville and L-3 are back in court this week to argue whether a Hunt County judge has authority to issue rulings in their ongoing litigation.
The city has appealed an August ruling by 354th District Court Judge Richard A. Beacom that he has the authority to issue rulings. City Attorneys have claimed this is a municipal government issue, namely the contested re-plat of Majors Field Municipal Airport.
The two sides will appear before the Texas 5th District Court of Appeals on Tuesday.
