Sarah Hobbs is living her dream. From humble beginnings in Jefferson, to attending college at Texas A&M University-Commerce, she's now making a name for herself as a strong voiced, independent Texas singer and songwriter.

With a new EP release slated for early 2017, Hobbs is regularly touring  and getting her name and face before music fans worldwide (She's part of an impressive lineup at the December Texas Music Takeoverevent in London, England). She was excited to return to her College roots in Commerce, and met with Notably Texan to talk about her music and life.

Sarah's newest single features fellow Texas artist Sam Riggs:

See Sarah's website for more about Sarah, including links to her social networking, and listen to Notably Texan weekdays from Noon-3pm on KETR.

Born in Dallas, Texas, Matt moved to the Sulphur Springs area in 1990 and settled in Commerce shortly thereafter. Having dreamed of working in radio since childhood, he began working at KETR while taking Radio-Television courses at Texas A&M University-Commerce in 1993. Matt has transitioned from a part-time worker and pupil of KETR, to the station’s Chief Announcer/Producer and supervisor of student broadcasters. A familiar voice of 88-9 KETR, Matt has hosted such shows as The Late Nite Lion, and can currently be heard as host of Notably Texan.
