Commerce – The A&M-Commerce Lions men's basketball team gears up for the start of the regular season this weekend as they travel to Nacodoches and College Station for exhibition matches. The defending conference champion Lions have been picked to win the Lone Star Conference North this year in pre-season polls. The Lions will be led by senior Jemart Miller, who was named the pre-season player of the year for the LSC North.
The Lions will face Stephen F. Austin this Thursday in an exhibition match in Nacodoches. Then the Lions head to College Station on Saturday to face the Aggies. You can hear all of that game live here on 88.9. Tip-off is set for 7pm Saturday, with live coverage beginning just before game time. The Lions start their regular season November 17th in Stephenville as they are slated to face Oklahoma Science & Arts and Howard Payne in the Tarleton Tournament.
