Lions Football: A Week Until 2018 NFL Draft, Pro Day Prospects (Slideshow)

Last month the Lions Football program hosted their third annual Lone Star Pro Day and Small College Combine. All-Americans Luis Perez, Jared Machorro and Yusef Sterling-Lowe were in attendance at Memorial Stadium. They were joined by several former Lions and smaller college draft prospects. Family and fans piled into Whitley Gym to check out testing and indoor workouts, before the final workouts at Memorial Stadium, March 31.

The Dallas Cowboys, Super Bowl runner-up New England Patriots, Cleveland Browns, Denver Broncos, Green Bay Packers, Indianapolis Colts, Los Angeles Chargers, Los Angeles Rams, Minnesota Vikings, New York Giants, Oakland Raiders, San Francisco 49ers, Seattle Seahawks, and Tampa Bay Buccaneers were also in attendance for Pro Day.

Perez has already signed endorsement deals and is expected to be the highest drafted Lion in this year’s draft. Reports have varied that he’ll hit free agency but others speculate he’ll be drafted in a late round. His lack of speed could hinder his stock, despite the Harlon Hill winner’s 67% career completion percentage.

After guiding his team to a national championship, Perez is still considered a sleeper in the 2018 NFL Draft. With a week left until draft day at Cowboys Stadium, we quickly take a look at how a few Lions fared at Pro Day.
