The No. 8-ranked Texas A&M University-Commerce football team welcomes West Texas A&M to Memorial Stadium this weekend for homecoming. The Buffaloes are coming off an upset win over Midwestern State. The Lions are ranked fifth in the first of this year's Super Region Four rankings, as announced by the NCAA Division II Football Committee on Monday.
A&M-Commerce has an in-region and Division II record of 6-1 following last week's 62-14 rout of Angelo State. The Lions are one of five teams in the region with one loss, joined by Southwest Baptist, Midwestern State, Ashland, and Wayne State.
