Lions split double-header

Commerce – A&M-Commerce Lion's basketball posted some exciting games over the weekend, splitting the double-header with Southwestern Oklahoma Saturday.

The women picked up their school-record 17th win, taking down Southwestern 80-60. The women are 17-7 overall and 5-1 in the Lone Star Conference North.

The men lost to Southwestern in a thriller. Final score: 11-102. It was the second straight game the Lions posted more than 100 points.

Both teams hit the road to face Central Oklahoma Wednesday.
