Catie Hyde and Brionna Minde

FIRST KICK
A&M-Commerce has won two in a row after not allowing a goal in either game last week. The shutouts came against Ouachita Baptist, 1-0, and Texas Woman's, 2-0. The Lion defense is on a 203-minute shutout streak, with the win over OBU coming in double over time.

SERIES SCORE
The Lions and Lady Buffs ended in a draw in the first meeting of the season after a double overtime game in September. A&M-Commerce has split the last two games in Commerce with the Lady Buffs. The Lady Buffs won 1-0 last season in Commerce and the Lions won 3-2 back in 2011. A&M-Commerce has never lost to Eastern New Mexico in Commerce, posting a 4-0-1 record. The Lions won the first meeting this season in Portales by the score of 2-1 in double overtime.

SCOUTING THE LADY BUFFS
West Texas has struggled this season after winning the LSC title in 2012. West Texas went winless in the month of October (0-5-1). The Lady Buffs' last win came on September 27 versus Texas Woman's, 1-0, in over time.  West Texas has not scored since Jessie Thomas scored in the 65th minute versus Angelo State on October 11, a span of 385 minutes. Thomas leads the Lady Buffs in goals (3) and points (6) this season. Lauren Connel and Emily Krenek have two assists for West Texas this season.

SCOUTING THE ZIAS
Eastern New Mexico is winless in their last five games (0-2-3). The Zias have also been in a scoreless drought, not scoring since a Oct. 11 match against Midwestern State. Their streak is eight minutes shorter than West Texas' due to Maurisa Jones' goal in the 78th minute versus the Mustangs. Jones leads the Zias in goals (5) and points (10). Alyssa Prince is second on the team in goals (3), assists (3) and points (9). Alyxandra Ortiz and Fabienne Wilson have split the goaltending duties for the Zias this season.

2013 SENIORS
Catie Hyde
and Brionna Minde will play their last regular season home game on Sunday versus Eastern New Mexico. Hyde played her final two seasons at A&M-Commerce after transferring from Emporia State (Kan.) following her sophomore season. Hyde has logged 2,429 minutes on the Lion back line in her two seasons. The Overland Park, Kansas native has recorded two goals and an assist in her Lion career. Minde has started in every game she has played in since her arrival at A&M-Commerce in 2010. The Richardson native has posted 17 goals and 19 assists in her Lion career.

53 CAREER POINTS
Brionna Minde is just two points away from cracking the Top 10 of career points in a Lion uniform. Minde has 11 points this season and needs a goal or two assists before the season ends to tie Stacy Carr for tenth on the all-time list.

SHUTOUTS IN A SEASON
Callie Ballard, the Lions' freshman goalkeeper, has recorded six shutouts this season. That total has her tied for the eighth most in a single season in program history. If Ballard records one more she would move into a five way tie for fourth most with seven in a season. Sarah Fagan holds the recorded with 11 shutouts in a season, back in 1999.
