Local assault case defendent ordered mental evaluation

Commerce – New developments have emerged in the case of the man accused of aggravated assault on a Commerce woman in December. Shane Allen Morris of Grand Prairie was ordered a mental evaluation during a hearing Wednesday. He remains in custody on $56,000 bond.
