Greenville – A local man, recently appearing on the Texas Department of Public Safety's 10 Most Wanted Fugitives list, is now in custody.
In the past couple days; Hunt County Crime Stoppers have received several tips as to the location of Alfred Green, Jr.
The information released by the DPS earlier this week indicated Green is wanted on charges of aggravated assault and possession of dangerous drugs. Authorities also warned that Green has violent tendencies.
Greenville Police Officers responded to a residence in Greenville, but the subject was not there. Officers continued to check the residence throughout the day.
Thursday morning, Green called the Greenville Police Department and stated that he would turn himself in. Around Noon, Green turned himself in to the Greenville Police Department without incident.
