Fannin County – A Fannin County man was shot and killed yesterday by authorities attempting to serve a warrant.
Texas Department of Public Safety Trooper Mark Tackett says that 31-year-old Christopher Ramquist was shot following a struggle at his home near Bonham.
It was not immediately known how many shots officers fired.
Tackett says that a multi-agency drug task force was issuing an arrest warrant for Ramquist, wanted for conspiracy to possess with intent to manufacture and distribute methamphetamine.
The Texas Rangers are investigating.
The task force serving the warrant consisted of two police officers had one state trooper.
