Rockwall County – A Quinlan ISD instructor is out on bond, charged with engaging in a sexual relationship with one of his students.
The Greenville Herald Banner reports 28-year-old Kevian Lawrence Carr has been charged with both sexual assault of a child and an improper relationship between educator/student, which allegedly took place in June.
He was a life skills teacher and assistant volleyball coach at Ford High School, plus a 2008 Employee of the Year nominee for the district.
The case is being prosecuted by the Rockwall County District Attorney's Office, as the alleged offense is said to have occurred at Carr's home in Rockwall County.
