18 year old Taylor Hager died from injuries in a crash at Highway 50 and Culver the early morning of July 4th. At the northeast corner of the intersection, three friends placed a cross lettered in the red and white colors of Lone Oak High School. Ryan Biggers, Bruce Boyd, and William Cook graduated two years ahead of Taylor. Ryan said they knew Taylor through her brother.
Taylor, who just graduated from Lone Oak High School, excelled in academics and athletics. A memorial fund has been established at American National Bank in Lone Oak.
