Man arrested after shooting at Commerce McDonald's

Commerce – A Caddo Mills man is in custody after allegedly firing a gun in the parking lot of the Commerce McDonald's Sunday evening.

City of Commerce and University Police were able to locate the shooter's vehicle and initiated a traffic stop.

According to witnesses, the driver, identified as Brent Wallace Holbrook of Caddo Mills, fired a handgun following an altercation. A revolver was recovered from the vehicle which contained one shell casing.

Holbrook was charged with unlawfully carrying a weapon, a misdemeanor A offense. He is currently free from jail after posting a $2000 bond.

Additional charges may be filed, including charges on the remaining suspects that fled.
