Commerce – Commerce Police have arrested a teenage suspect who allegedly flashed a gun in the lobby of The University Inn Hotel Sunday.
A preliminary investigation revealed that there had been an altercation where 18-year-old Alexander Jones brandished a hand gun.
Jones was located in a vehicle traveling on Loop 178 after witnesses at the scene were able to give a description of the car. In the back seat of the car officers found what was believed the weapon in question.
Jones is charged with felon in possession of a fire arm and disorderly conduct / displaying of a fire arm in public.
At last report, he was being held at the Hunt County Jail on $11,000 total bond.
