Quinlan – A Quinlan-area man could be released from custody following a judge's ruling that there was no probable cause to hold him.
The defense attorney for Jeffery Feagin had filed for an examining trial to determine if his client should remain in jail. But during Monday's hearing no probable cause was determined after the Hunt County District Attorney's office provided no evidence.
Feagin was charged with one count of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon against a public servant. In September, Faegin was at the center of a standoff in Hawk Cove which lasted several hours before ending without incident.
