Man convicted of assault flees courthouse, remains at large

By Brad Kellar

Greenville – A defendant convicted of aggravated assault did not stick around to hear the sentence.

Randy Lee Williams, of Greenville, walked out of the Hunt County Courthouse Wednesday shortly after a jury found him guilty. He was still being sought by authorities as of late Wednesday evening.

The two day trial for Williams alleged he assaulted a male victim last April. He lists nine prior felony convictions.
