Northeast Texas – A man has evaded police after leading them on a high speed chase through Northeast Texas. The chase began early Wednesday morning when Sulphur Springs police attempted to stop a vehicle for a traffic violation. The vehicle did not stop.
Hopkins County deputies and state troopers joined in the chase that went through Brashear, Saltillo, and Mount Vernon. The suspect was not apprehended and managed to escape arrest.
