Greenville – A Greenville man has pleaded not guilty to murder for a second time.
Andreas Tearri Morris was arraigned Monday for a second time in connection with the shooting death in July 2007 of Cordarien Marquel Kelly, of Greenville. A special setting for Morris' trial was set for June 8. Morris remains in custody at the Hunt County Jail Monday in lieu of $500,000 bond.
The first indictment he faced was dismissed at the start of his trial on March 23 after only a handful of the witnesses prosecutors had planned to testify appeared.
On July 1, 2007, Greenville Police received a call of a shooting victim in the 1800 block of Wellington Street. Officers found the 18 year-old Kelly shot several times. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
