Greenville – Not guilty pleas are entered in connection to an alleged robbery and kidnapping last year in Greenville.
24-year-old Jackie Lawrence Scott, of South Fredericksburg, pleaded not guilty Tuesday to charges of aggravated assault and aggravated kidnapping. An interim hearing date has been set for August 10.
Scott, along with two others, is alleged to have held an employee of the Peach Tree Game Room eight-liner parlor, south of Greenville, at gunpoint and to have strapped him down with duct tape in December, 2008.
Michael Ray Bell, of Greenville, has also pleaded not guilty to both counts, while Billy Lee Massey pleaded guilty in and was sentenced to 10 years in prison.
