Ken Bain, owner of Mary of Puddin Hill, said the company’s catalog business will start up again next month, with the retail store opening before that, likely on or about October 1st.
In May, Bain said the Greenville store at 201 East Interstate 30 had closed for good and that the company had also temporarily suspended online ordering, as it relocated its factory to a new location. Instead the operations will remain where they were.
Mary of Puddin Hill, famous for its fruitcakes and confections, has a local history dating back more than 160 years.
