Millsap to seek re-election for County Judge's post

Sulphur Springs – Hopkins County Judge Cletis Millsap announced Wednesday plans to run for re-election in the Democratic Party Primary in March.

The long-time judge is a native of Hopkins County, and has previously served as Justice of the Peace, Precinct One. Millsap also attended East Texas State University for a time.

He was elected County Judge in 1998. In that capacity, Millsap serves as the Chief Executive Officer of the Commissioners Court, the governing body of Hopkins County.
