Greenville – A two vehicle accident involving a City of Greenville dump truck sent one person to the hospital yesterday with minor injuries. The accident occurred at the intersection of Stonewall and Lee Streets in downtown Greenville just before 3:30 yesterday afternoon.
A City of Greenville dump truck was traveling southbound along Stonewall when it collided with the bed of a Chevy S-10 pick-up truck that was westbound on Lee Street. After the collision, both vehicles also crashed into a traffic pole at the intersection.
The driver of the pick-up was taken to Presbyterian of Greenville with minor injuries. The driver of the dump truck was uninjured.
